This unique breathtaking venue is situated on the shores of Lough Ree. As well as being an established venue, The Wineport Lodge is now also home to the popular television series “The Restaurant”.
The Good Guys have performed here many times. It is a beautiful location for civil ceremonies and the Jazz Duo service we offer works equally well indoors and outside on the terrace when the weather is fine. Several brides and grooms have arrived by boat to be greeted by the gentle and sophisticated music of our double bass and piano ensemble.
The cosy interior of the restaurant is a wonderful setting for your reception. The load in is convenient for the band and this can commence as soon as the meal and speeches have finished. Our advisory note is however that proceedings tend to be quite relaxed at The Wineport particularly if the weather is very good. As a result, it is common to lose track of time and things may have a tendency to run on a little later than usual. We would advise couples to be wary of this when planning their reception – particularly the speeches
